Hershey kiss peanut butter cookies

1/2 cup shortening

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 cup peanut butter

1/2 cup brown sugar

cream together

1 3/4 cup flour

1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp soda

sift and add to above mixture

1 egg

2 TB milk

1 tsp vanilla

add to combined mixtures above and mix.

Shape into 1 inch balls.  Roll in sugar.  Bake at 376 degrees for 8 minutes.  Remove and push Hershey's Kisses in the center of each cookie.  Return and finish baking for 3-4 minutes.
