Sour Cream Sugar Cookies


1 Cup Shortening
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 cup sour cream
4 cups flour
1 tsp soda
2 tsp baking powder
pinch of salt

Mix in order given.  Chill.  Roll out and cut.  Bake at 375 degrees.  DON'T OVERCOOK.  These do not brown.  As soon as the bottom is a little brown, then take them out of the oven.

Frosting:
8 oz cream cheese
1 cube margarine
1 pound powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla

Beat cream cheese until smooth, then add margarine and vanilla.  Blend well then add the powdered sugar.
