2 c. chopped tart apples (I used Granny Smith)
3/4 c. sugar
2 T flour
1/2 t. vanilla
1/8 t. salt
1 c. sour cream
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 unbaked 9" pie shell
Topping:
1/3 c. sugar
1 t. cinnamon
1/3 c. flour
1/4 c. butter
Mix flour & sugar. Add sour cream, egg, vanilla and salt. Mix well. Add apples and pour into crust. Cover edges of pie shell with foil. Bake @ 425* for 20 min. Remove foil, crumble topping mixture over the top. Bake @ 325* for 20 min. Store in refrigerator.
