Open House Punch

1 envelope Knox gelatin, dissolved in 2 tablespoons cold water in a large bowl
ADD
1 cup boiling water
2 cups sugar
2 cups pineapple juice
1/2 cup bottled lemon juice
2 cups cold water

Stir and tint to desired color.  Put in an empty 1/2 gallon milk container or a liter soda container and add water until it comes to 2 inches of the top.   FREEZE at least 24 hours.

2-3 hours before serving, take out of freezer. 

Just before serving, put in punch bowl and add 1 liter 7-UP (not a generic brand... doesn’t work as well for some reason)  Mix with hand mixer until foamy.  Serve.

Leftovers can be refrozen!
